We are Parking it Forward in the Great Smoky Mountains. Seeing over 12 million people a year, The NPS decided to step up the parking issues with tags. We require you to wear sturdy footwear (hiking boots or thicker tennis shoes) for walking 2 to 3 hours on uneven surfaces (No loafers or flip flops are allowed).
